About CroatiaPoint

CroatiaPoint helps travellers understand Croatia before they travel. We answer the practical questions a guidebook skips: where to park in Rovinj, which beaches suit small children, how to get from Pula Airport to your apartment, and whether Dubrovnik is worth it in October.

Why CroatiaPoint exists

Most information about Croatia is either promotional or scattered across forums. We started CroatiaPoint in Rovinj because visitors kept asking us the same questions – and the answers were rarely online in one clear place.

Our editorial approach

  • Specific over general. Street names, distances, prices and seasons – not “beautiful” and “unforgettable”.
  • Checked on the ground. Articles are written or reviewed by people who have been there, and updated when things change.
  • Honest. If a famous beach is crowded or a car park is expensive, we say so.
  • Independent. Partnerships are always labelled and never decide what we recommend.

How our content is created

Every guide starts with a question travellers actually ask. We research it on location and from official sources (ferry operators, parking companies, national parks), write the answer first, then add the details. Each article shows when it was last updated – if you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
