Cookie Policy

CroatiaPoint uses as few cookies as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or social media tracking cookies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser, for example to remember a choice you made. Similar technologies, such as local storage, are covered by this policy too.

Cookies we use

Necessary cookies – needed for the site to work and be secure. They do not require your consent:

  • Cookie consent – remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so we do not ask you on every page.
  • Security – our server’s security system may set short-lived technical cookies to protect the site against attacks and bots.
  • Language – remembers your language once the site is available in more than one language.
  • Login – set only for our editors when they log in to manage the site. Visitors do not log in.

Analytics, advertising and social media cookies – we do not use any at the moment. If we add them, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

Maps and other websites

Destination pages can show a Google map. The map is loaded only after you click to load it; Google may then set its own cookies and process your IP address under its own privacy policy. Links to our social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube) are plain links – those platforms only set cookies if you visit them.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies and block them in your browser settings at any time. If you delete the consent cookie, the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working properly. More about how we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
