Milna lies at the end of a deep, sheltered bay on the western tip of Brač. Its stone waterfront, small marina and slower pace make it a favourite stop for sailors and a calm base for a few days on the island.
Why visit
Life in Milna happens along the harbour: cafés, konobas and boats moored right in front of the old stone houses, with the parish church rising above the waterfront.
The coves around the bay are good for quiet swims, and Bol, Supetar and the stone villages of the interior are an easy drive away.
Where to stay
Stay around the old harbour for atmosphere and restaurants, or in the quieter bays around Milna if you have a car or a boat.
Getting there and around
Car ferries run from Split to Supetar; from there it is about 25 minutes by car to Milna. In season, catamarans from Split also stop in Milna – check current timetables before you travel.
Parking
Parking on the waterfront is limited in July and August. Leave the car at the edge of the village and walk in.
